Well after 3 days and 1635 miles my daughter and I are back from the show. It was a painfully long drive there on very little sleep but we made it. The show was being hosted at Crown Billiards in San Ramon (a nice room). It was great to meet Rex, John, Pete, Tommie, Jay and so many others.

My daughter Chelsea took most all of these pictures. Thanks Chelsea!

It’s been more hectic around the shop the usual due to the upcoming cue show. I really learned a lot trying to get ready for this show. One thing I need to do is start preparing a year in advance. I am working on my customer orders and the show cues at the same time, plus repairs. I think I officially over stretched. It’s going to be interesting to finally do a show, I only wish I prepared sooner so I could take more cues.
I tried out a new ring style in some of the new cues. It’s 24 slots of nickel silver. I’m considering making it my new ring and discontinuing the 12 slot ring pack.
Here’s what is in progress now…

Getting ready for the West Coast Cue Show and things have been busy as usual. I have been spending most of my time on shafts lately.

I was very lucky to find some exceptionally nice pieces of this wood today. There is no substitute for being able to hand pick. I am really anxious to use some this stuff.
