Wood Shopping

Made a visit to one of my favorite wood stores and found a few boards I liked (Laotian Rosewood and Goncalo Alves). I love shopping for wood!

Goncalo Alves is a great wood for cues structurally but it can be sort of bland sometimes. I happened to find a board with nice dark streaking and another with nice chatoyance (shimmer). The Laotian Rosewood looked interesting and I look forward to seeing it after its first turning.

A slotted ring design without any metal.

On the far right tulipwood with figured walnut.

I really appreciate latex gloves on days like these.

Inlaying slotted ring billets.

Busy day today getting parts prepped for future cues.

Handle segments for a few wrapless cues.

Tulipwood, Olivewood, and Walnut

Future cues.

Various exotic hardwoods.
