New Tulipwood Cue (now sold)
Things around here are smoothing out with the family situation, my mom is out of the hospital and dad is doing a bit better. With that being said I have a new cue I’m finishing up, I just put the final turn on the butt tonight. It’s a tulipwood and holly six point with a new slotted ring layout. I plan on offering it with 2 shafts, Kamui black tips, and black leather wrap. The price will be $1050 plus shipping. The cue will be ready some time next month. If your interesting in this cue give me a call or email.

Family Emergency
I’m writing a post to let everyone know both my parents health has been in decline for the past year or so. Recently my Mom has been hospitalized with some serious conditions and I have had to move my Dad out of Hospice to a care center. It has required a lot of my time to stay on top of their needs lately and as a result will push back my delivery times on all orders. I apologize for the delay and it will vary from order to order depending on my current progress. My main focus is my family right now but I am still getting time in the shop and work is still moving forward. Thanks for your patience and understanding during this tough time.

Russel’s Cue
Birdseye maple and indian rosewood. Russel wanted a classic design topped off with a nice lizard belly print leather wrap.

Volker’s Cue
Quilted maple and highly figure olivewood. This was the fourth cue in a series made Mr. Fabian of Germany. This particular build had a few challenges related to the wood choices. Both pieces were fairly unstable and required a great deal of time to dry and cut. The entire cue has been cored to help insure stability for years to come. I would like to thank Mr. Fabian for his extreme patience when it came to this build, it was very much appreciated.

John Davis Blank
This cocobolo into cocobolo full splice butt was made by John Davis. It has ivory joint collars and hoppe ring and will be available through Bill Grassley at Cornerstone Cues.

Colin’s Cue
Colin’s cue was made from ebony with natural phenolic collars and butt cap. I used a lizard print leather wrap and matched the color of the phenolic fairly close.

Thor’s Cue
This was a unique build because I finished this cue for fellow cue maker Scott Whisler. Scott built the parts but didn’t have the time to complete the build, so Thor asked me if I would finish it for him. The cue is ebony and redheart with ivory inlays and slotted rings. Everything was built to Thor’s special specs.

Ken’s Cue
Ken’s cue was made from ebony and holly. Holly is the a great substitute for ivory and works well in most designs.

Turning Squares
Its been awhile since I’ve posted. I’ve been hard at work on a big group of 18 cues and doing lots of repair work as well. I recently had some new turning squares arrive to the shop. Everything from stripped ebony to snakewood. In case anyone was wondering the snakewood has been spoken for.

What’s in the rack.
Working on lots of cues right now, everything but the goncalo alves sneaky pete has been sold.

Jay Swanson Memorial 2011
Congratulations to fellow Arizonian, friend and long time BCM cue user, Mitch Ellerman on his 2nd place finish at Hardtimes. Alex Pagulayan beat Mitch 11-6 in the early morning finals of the 192 person field.
